The eighth design is the Queen’s Lion, a traditional symbol of courage, legitimacy and royal authority. The lion appears on a modern bullion reverse influenced by the Hampton Court stone statues.
The eighth individual bullion release in the Royal Tudor Beasts collection, designed by David Lawrence. The series draws on the stone guardians of Hampton Court Palace and uses a textured reverse with surface animation. The obverse depicts King Charles III.
